Fandom Friday: Legacies (A Hope Mikaelson story)
I just finished watching the First Season of Legacies on Netflix, for those of you who don’t know what I am talking about here is a little bit of a synopsis before we jump in. The town of Mystic Falls has a new generation of protectors in this spin-off of “The Vampire Diaries” and “The Originals.” The Salvatore School for the Young and Gifted is home to Klaus Mikaelson’s daughter Hope, Alaric Saltzman’s twins Lizzie and Josie, and other young adults who are coming of age as witches, vampires and werewolves, nurtured to be their best selves and overcome their villainous impulses. Together, they rely on ancient folklore and tales…

Technical Tuesday: Driving with Google
Google maps is a great application and one that pretty much everyone already has on their phone. But did you know that most people don’t really use it? I don’t know why… It’s honestly pretty cool to use. My favorite thing about Google Maps is the Explore Nearby. I love to use it when I am in a new town or just want to see something new in my own city. It gives your events and also let’s you use the Google Search by just selecting a button that’s relevant to what your looking for. You can also add in places that you travel to often and check the commute…

Why I love The Sims.
Long ago there was a game on the computer that was simply called The Sims. Since that time long ago the world has made many versions of this game and I have to say that I love them all. Now I know that its not exactly cool to say that you love The Sims, but honestly its really my type of game. I am not a first person shooter game player… See Call of Duty WW2 (First Time Playing) for more info at how terrible I am. lol. In fact I just learned that the Sims is 19 years old this month. Thanks to the Twitch Streamer Sims4Jo (if you…

Malware is a broad term that is used to describe all sorts of malicious code. A virus is a part of this Larger Term. The difference here is that not all Malware is a Virus. Some of it is easy and quick to remove and some Malware is hard and needs a special set of skills and knowledge to remove. Always bring your computer to a cerified computer Technician if you suppect any type of Malware. There are a lot of terms that Malware takes the place of. Below I am going to explain each one with the definitions that I have found from the Tech Terms Computer Dictionary. Many…

Technical Tuesday: Make your computer as fast as a Gazelle.
If your a lot like me you have a ton of photos and documents on your computer. Whether it be a Laptop or a Desktop, they all need to be cleaned out every once in a while. And while its easy to just click the recycle bin and be done that’s not going to actually clean your computer up or make it run any faster. First things First… I am NOT a Computer Technician! I worked for a company that repaired computers, but only as an administrative assistant. I do not have an A+ Certification or any of those Certifications. I have done work to my own Laptop because I…

Fandom Friday: Yu-Gi-Oh-Finding the Heart of the Cards
So when I was a little girl I would see the commercials for Yu-Gi-Oh on Saturday morning cartoons and I would just turn off the TV when the show came on and go on with my day. So while my boyfriend and I were cleaning his closet at the beginning of our relationship we stumbled upon books of Yu-Gi-Oh cards and I made fun of him for having all these cards and for liking the show. In return for this teasing, he convinced me to watch the entire first season. Now as you know if you have been reading this blog for a while, I love anime. I also love…

Fandom Friday: Yu Yu Hakusho – Ghost Files
My boyfriend asked me last night if I wanted to watch the Yu Yu Hakusho. Except when he said it I thought he said the “you you hacka show”. Not knowing what this was … I looked at him like he was crazy. Turns out that this is an Anime. One that can be found on Hulu. Yu Yu Hakusho is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Yoshihiro Togashi. The series tells the story of Yusuke Urameshi, a teenage delinquent who is struck and killed by a car while attempting to save a child’s life. This anime is really pretty funny and not one that I…
