Trip to Disney: Where the Magic comes alive.
I will be going to Disney again very soon…. Like in 18 days. But I have never planned the actual trip. Usually I just go up for the day or stay with family that is already there.
MyDisneyExperience:
MyDisneyExperience is an App and also part of the Disney Website. I recently went on there to plan my trip and found some really cool things.
- Getting everything on either the website or the App and switching between the two is really easy.
I was looking for a room to stay in for my moms birthday and I saw an email from Disney saying that I could get a room for a really great rate. So I looked at it on my phone and when I went on my computer to finalize the purchase. Disney already had it there and ready to go.
- The app and also the website provide some really great information. Such as the wait times for rides and also the times for the shows
I was looking at the fireworks shows for the Magic Kingdom and I noticed that there is a date and time that can be selected on the side when you scroll down a little bit, It allows for better planning in your trips. Also there is a small heart in the top right of the pages (barely visible) and you can save that information to your account by just clicking it. Sorta like a bookmark.
Once you make your plans for the room, you can select your MagicBands (For more information on MagicBands Click here) From there, (if you are a planner like me) you want to know what is going on…
So best idea here is to check out the entertainment that Disney has to offer.
To do this: on the website
You want to hover over MyDisneyExperience and select My Itinerary. This brings you to the page that shows when you are staying in the hotel and it prompts you to make plans with “Add things to do for _________”.
Scroll down from there and click “Be Inspired” This will show your everything that is going on in all Disney parks for the day that you arrive.
Personally I like this and really loved that I could add things that I would personally want to do to my Itinerary… This doesn’t LOCK you into doing them and it isn’t like setting up FastPasses.
Its just a list of things that you may or may not be interested in doing and you can scroll through and see if these things fit into your plans.
After that just remember to grab your toothbrush, and go have some fun!!!!
If planning a trip to Disney is not your thing then I do recommend using a MagicalVacationPlanner. In fact I know one that you can contact.
