Lite Your Reading On Fire!

So many of you awesome readers know that I am a self proclaimed book nerd. I love to read and even worked in a library for quite a few years. Over time I have had to move for one reason or another and realized that every time I have had to pack up my books. They seemed to get Heavier and Heavier. lol. Probably because of the sheer mass amount of them.

So a few years ago I made the switch to Kindle and at first I hated it. I missed the feeling of how a good old fashioned book felt in my hands. I missed how the pages smelled.

Then something awesome happened. I discovered….

Amazons Kindle Unlimited membership.

Amazon offers this service independently of a prime membership or you can purchase a prime membership and get this added in for free. I personally have had a kindle unlimited membership for about 2 years now and I love it. Many of the books that I read are on this service and I can easily carry them around with me on my phone or my Amazon Fire Tablet (depicted to the right)

What I like about the Amazon Fire Tablet:

The screen is bigger and also I can surf the internet and also look at Pinterest. I do also enjoy that I can take notes and publish the books that I read onto Goodreads easily using the Kindle app. I also have a few games that I play such as Candy Crush Saga.

Plus I have my own access to Alexa (which is Amazon’s Personal Assistant) She basically is just an added on accessory which allows me to ask questions and get updates about the weather and news or to simply order something from amazon.

Personally, I think that this was one of the best gifts I got for Christmas. I still use it almost every day and really love the ease of use with the kindle app and my email. Also it comes in different colors and there are a large variety of cases for the tablets. Some of which you can find on Geek, or Wish. (see my review of these great apps here)
