My Exploration of Super Mario Party on the Nintendo Switch

I finally got one, by that I mean I got a Nintendo Switch! I really do love the machine, I think I have a total of 5 games so far and with Pokémon Lets Go Eevee already preordered… Nor can I wait to start telling you all about the games and also to start streaming my gameplay… (as soon as I figure out how!)

Anyway this post is actually not about how much I love my system…Super Mario Partybut actually about one game in particular. So for those who haven’t been reading along about my gaming tendencies…I am not by any means a hardcore gamer… or really a gamer at all. I love to play and totally love to hear about all of these wonderful games. (if you think of some that I may like… let me know. ) Anyway… My boyfriend got me a super awesome game.

I actually want to brag a little about him here. He managed to somehow just be in the right place at the right time to get this game ahead of schedule… by like 10 hours! He wanted to go to Walmart to find a game. We saw that Super Mario Party was coming out for the Switch. Both of us have played the game on other systems and really liked it. But it wasn’t coming out until October 5th… (it was October 4th… when this happened) So we saw a box labeled Super Mario Party Do Not Sell Till October 5th and we asked and the guy was like okay.. Its October 5th (At 12:30 in the morning) So at 1 am on October 5th my wonderful boyfriend and I played Super Mario Party till 4 am.

This game is wonderful, and I cant wait to play again.  But Unfortunely I do not have any footage at the moment of us playing. So Until I get that up… here is a tantalizing teaser from Nintendo.

What Nintendo Has Created:

Nintendo has now created a wonderful party game and one that can be played in may different ways. Although this game is not the type for you to sit down and play through. It is still a very good game and one that I will be playing again and again. Nintendo created 80 new mini games for this particular Mario Party and also enhanced a lot of older ideas so that the game is still up to date. All the old characters are there and you may even see some new faces since the first Mario Party. The joy-cons work perfectly in synchronization with the system and also make it very easy to maneuver around. The only thing that I was not a fan of when playing this game by myself a little later in the day was that the joy-cons do have to be detached from the system. There is no getting around this. But this does make sense as for the fact that in many of the mini games you have to move the joy-cons to move the characters.

I hope that you all like the game as much as I have and if you discover any awesome tricks you will share them!
