What could you do with Any.do? -An App Review.

This is not a sponsored post. I do not have a relationship with this company in any way other than trying their free trial of the Any.do App. All opinions and actions are my own.

In my quest of life, it’s my main goal to stay organized. Since I don’t have my own Pepper Potts, I am stuck using my phone and planner.

Now normally I stay fairly organized. I am a pain in the butt about everything having its own home and being put back after it’s used. Mostly so that when I go to look for it again, It’s there.

But I have trouble writing things down in my planner or entering them into my phone. So I decided to search the play store and I found quite a few apps that are supposed to help you organize your life.

Any.do is a subscription-based application that plans your day and task. While working across all platforms.

How does it work?

There is the main screen that has everything on it. At the top of you have a grocery list (that can be shared), Tips and Tricks, and more. Right below that is a side-scrolling calendar. Which will change the vertical scrolling display below that when you click on a date. Both screens move simultaneously.

Below that in the bottom right, you have a blue + sign that allows you to add a task or an event and at the very bottom, you have a button for the task list, calendar, and settings.

All of this information flows together seamlessly in the main display.

My Thoughts.

I really enjoyed the overall design and concept of the app. It works very well with my existing calendar on my S8. It didn’t however allow me to import my reminders and I did not see a way to do this besides to manually enter them as a task.

There is this pretty nice Plan My Day feature that springs up around 9 am. It allows you to migrate tasks to another day or to add them to your day easily.

But unfortunately, my day starts at around 4 am. So 5 hours into my day…is a little late for planning. I think this feature would be great for a person whose days begin at a normal hour. LOL.

It was very nice on my day off and I actually got a lot of stuff done. Having a reminder usually keeps me from getting distracted.

I did not see any problems or experience any…In the entire application even after a week of using it. Honestly, it was very useful and a wonderful experience.

I did not like that the application cost money though. It’s only 35.88 billed annually. When you break it down is 2.99 (per month) or about .75 cents per week.

Which if you like me and place the organization at the top of the list, that’s one less coffee a month. It’s totally Worth It!

There is also a version that you can use for free, but for the purposes of this review, I wanted to explore the premium features, which were not actually all that special. I could color code my task, get notified when I was near a location that corresponded with a task, customize the theme, and set reoccurring tasks. The unlimited attachments and collaboration were not that important to me in the first place so I didn’t use them.

Overall the application was simple and easy to use with clear and concise instructions.

I have to say that I have given the Any.do app a home on my phone and it definitely did a great job helping me get my To Do List Done!
