30 Day Anime Challenge Day 10: What Anime Destroyed You Emotionally?

Sadly I have to reach all the way back in my memory.  When I first started watching anime and then I have to try to not cry. The anime that I would say destroyed me emotionally is Sword Art Online (SAO). 

I cried my eyes out. They were good happy tears but I still cried and couldn’t stop. I am naturally a emotional person. So sad and happy things make me cry. Heck.. if you get me to laugh hard enough I will cry.

Anyway, through out the first few episodes of SAO, I was confused and just was ready to give up with anime all together. I didn’t remember who the characters were or what had happened in the previous episodes. Probably cause I didn’t really talk about it with anyone or even paid that much attention. ( I have a nasty habit of falling asleep to everything… like even in the movies… I tend to struggle to stay awake.)

So SAO was more of a journey for me than most people and I had to watch certain episodes 3 and 4 times. But when Asuna and Kirito finally got together and when they met in real life after the game was through, I cried. It was so sweet!

I mean look at them together.. that is one cute couple. 😛
