Throughout the series, we follow Shin, August, and a group of incredibly talented female magic users. These women are far from damsels in distress—they are elite magic users who have grown significantly since Shin arrived at the school. Together, they form the Ultimate Magic Study Group, where they push each other to become stronger and more skilled.
The two standout female characters, Maria and Sicilian, are exceptional in their own right. Maria is the epitome of a true friend, always supportive and free from the usual drama and bickering. Sicilian, who harbors a sweet crush on Shin, showcases her belief in his abilities in the most heartwarming ways. Despite being protected by Shin and the group, Sicilian proves time and again that she can handle herself in battle, using high-level magic to defend against demons.
Their relationships are delightful to watch, especially as August playfully nudges Shin to recognize Sicilian’s feelings. The dynamics between them are endearing, making the series a joy to follow. The Ultimate Magic Study Group’s journey is one of growth, friendship, and discovering the true extent of their magical potential.
Shin Wolfhard’s story is a testament to the power of strong moral values, the importance of friendship, and the magic that happens when ordinary people become extraordinary together.
This Study Group turns into a group that can protect the nation, and when war is upon them they get to kick some butt. The Ultimate Magician Team is a team that kicks demons butt and saves the nation.
Unfortunately, the anime ends and there are no plans to continue it. This is sad as it was an interesting anime and one that I would love to continue. The Manga also ended at volume 7, I believe and I have not found any information on the continuation of either the anime or the manga.
