Secret moves and unfortold techniques in Pokémon Let’s Go. (Pikachu and Evee Edition)

We all love knowing where to find the secrets in the games that we play. But in Pokémon I have found that not a lot of people are willing to share the information on what to do and where to find the best moves. In Pokémon Lets Go Evee and Lets Go Pikachu you find out that there are these Secret Techniques and that they are not listed or used as moves when battling.

Since not a lot of people seem willing to share this information… I have deemed it imperative to provide you with as much as I can in one post.

What are these moves and what can they do?

Chop Down, Light Up, Sky Dash, Sea Skim, Strong Push. There are 5 secret techniques that you can unlock while playing Pokémon Lets Go. Evee can learn these moves too. So don’t think that it’s a Pikachu only thing.

Strong Push allows you to move heavy objects by pushing them, Sky dash allows you to travel to any town you have been to previously. Chop down allows you to chop down small trees, Light Up allows you to light up dark areas, and Sea Skim allows you to surf. Each of these moves has been renamed from the original Pokémon games.

Where can you find them?

These moves are found in different places and are only able to be learned when you have completed all the steps.

Chop down is the first move that you can obtain. For this, you need to board the S.S Anne and help the ship’s Captian. Light up is the second Secret Technique to get. This is actually given to you when you exit Digletts Cave, By Professor Oaks Assistant. Strong Push is found in Fuchsia City. Hint (look for the house with the giant stone in it and a man missing his teeth). Sea Skim is also found in Fuchsia City. You can obtain this move in the GO Park. And last is Sky Dash, which can be found in Celadon City. Hint (go talk to the guy with the strange balloon device).

Each of these moves are new and yet old. Funny thing is they just seem to have changed the name and Big Thing Here… Only the starter Pokémon can learn these moves.
