Come aboard, and bring along All your hopes and dreams Together we will find everything That we’re looking for ONE PIECE! The story revolves around Luffy’s quest to be the king of the pirates and his adventures along the way. The animation is top-notch and every episode has something new to offer. The music score is fitting for each scene adding intensity when needed. Overall One Piece has become one of the most beloved anime series ever created, which shows no signs of slowing down anytime soon! It’s definitely worth watching Written by Code-e.ai -The…

Fandom Friday: Goblin Slayer
I have seen some gory and disturbing things in my lifetime, but I have never seen an anime that actually goes into detail and will show that much gore. Goblin Slayer is not for those of you who want a nice anime to watch before sleeping. Its not for children under the age of 15 (In my opinion). In the very first episode you see quite a bit of blood spatter. There is suggestion of rape, people are murdered in cold blood and this is just in the FIRST 10 MINUTES! Honestly, I had this one in my queue for a while and I had read the synopsis and thought…

Bell Cranel: The Naïve Adventurer in Orario’s Dungeon
Life in the bustling city of Orario is never dull, especially for Bell Cranel, a naïve young man who hopes to become the greatest adventurer in the land. After a chance encounter with the lonely goddess, Hestia, his dreams become a little closer to reality. With her support, Bell embarks on a fantastic quest as he ventures deep within the city’s monster-filled catacombs, known only as the “Dungeon.” Death lurks around every corner in the cavernous depths of this terrifying labyrinth, and a mysterious power moves amidst the shadows. Even on the surface, survival is a hard-earned privilege. Indeed, nothing is ever certain in a world where gods and humans…

The True Story of How I Fell In LOVE with Anime.
Anyway, Back to Saturday Morning Cartoons. Now as an adult looking back, I would have to say that it started with the Winx Club. (Bloom, I adore you!) Believe it or not this Cartoon here in America is actually an Italian Anime. (And please dont slaughter me for this… but most anime is kind of cartoonish) I also watched Sailor Moon at this time and liked the idea of being a superhero.

Fandom Friday: Rosario + Vampire
While exploring anime one night I found this great show. Rosario + Vampire The story goes a little like this: Tsukune’s horrible grades have left him with only one option. Enroll in a school never heard of before and take a creepy bus to get there. But students at this school are hiding something… their Supernatural secrets. On his first day Tsukune meets Moka (who ends up saving his life… quite a bit. I am only on episode 6 and already its a lot. Lol.) Moka is a Vampire and she is required to wear a rosary around her neck to keep her vampire self in a dormant state. Details…

Fandom Friday: Yu-Gi-Oh-Finding the Heart of the Cards
So when I was a little girl I would see the commercials for Yu-Gi-Oh on Saturday morning cartoons and I would just turn off the TV when the show came on and go on with my day. So while my boyfriend and I were cleaning his closet at the beginning of our relationship we stumbled upon books of Yu-Gi-Oh cards and I made fun of him for having all these cards and for liking the show. In return for this teasing, he convinced me to watch the entire first season. Now as you know if you have been reading this blog for a while, I love anime. I also love…

Fandom Friday: Yu Yu Hakusho – Ghost Files
My boyfriend asked me last night if I wanted to watch the Yu Yu Hakusho. Except when he said it I thought he said the “you you hacka show”. Not knowing what this was … I looked at him like he was crazy. Turns out that this is an Anime. One that can be found on Hulu. Yu Yu Hakusho is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Yoshihiro Togashi. The series tells the story of Yusuke Urameshi, a teenage delinquent who is struck and killed by a car while attempting to save a child’s life. This anime is really pretty funny and not one that I…

30 Day Anime Challenge Day 28: What Anime Has The Best Fight Scene?
Being the anime loving people we all are… I have no need to tell you that in every single anime there is a fight scene. I also don’t need to mention that most of these fight scenes are far to over done and sometimes way to drawn out. But the anime that I think does the best to keep their fight scenes short and also will accentuate the talents of the characters in each fight is One Piece. One Piece was actually recommended to me earlier this year. If you haven’t heard about One Piece, then you can find out about it here. The fight scenes in One Piece center…

30 Day Anime Challenge Day 25: What Is Your Comfort Anime?
I personally don’t feel as though there is a lot in life that gets me down. But when I am overworked, overwhelmed and just all around sad or angry. I like to watch Inuyasha. This kind of became a comfort anime, one day when I got dumped a long time ago. A good friend of mine told me to come over and we would watch Inuyasha and boy hate all day. What ended up happening was us watching like 5 episodes before her boyfriend and his roommate came home and took over the tv. lol. I went home shortly after that and watched the rest of the season by…
