30 Day Anime Challenge Day 6: What Anime Recommendation Have You Tried This Year?

It all started with a trip to Disney with my boyfriends family. We walked into Japan and his sister went a little crazzzzzy. Totally kidding. she didn’t go crazy but she did tell me all about ONE PIECE.

For those of you who have never heard of this anime…Well… you may have been living under a rock. But that is okay. No Judgement.

One Piece is the story of the adventures of Monkey D. Luffy, a boy whose body gained the properties of rubber after unintentionally eating a Devil Fruit. With his crew of pirates, named the Straw Hat Pirates, Luffy explores the Grand Line in search of the world’s ultimate treasure known as “One Piece” in order to become the next Pirate King.

This anime is hilarious and will keep you laughing the entire time. Luffy has a weird knack for getting into trouble and befriending the strange and antisocial. His friends consist of a guy who tells fantastic stories and wants to find his father, a thief with a pure heart who just smiles at men and then takes all of their belongings, a master swordsman who really has a temper and a womanizer who loves to cook.

As luffy and his team of pirates explore the Grand Line (where this “One Piece”) may be hidden. They not only bond over their love for the sea but they develop and grow as friends and individuals.

This anime as recommended to me as something new to watch, I recommend it to you as something that you should have in your anime collection. You can watch this anime on Funimation and also Crunchyroll.
